The Day of Play includes a range of sports such as Flag Rugby, Soccer, Volleyball, and Golf. The event is open to all children in the community, with programs tailored for different age groups:
- SuperTots (Ages 2-4): Choose from sessions at 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or 11:00 AM. Parents will join their children on the field for interactive sports activities like 1stDownTots, SoccerTots, and VolleyKats
- Skyhawks (Ages 5-12): Kids can join a multi-sport clinic from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with options for parents to either drop off their children or stay to watch. The day will conclude with a free lunch for all participants.
In partnership with the Junior League of New Orleans, the Day of Play will also feature a Diaper Drive supporting the Junior League's Diaper Bank during National Diaper Need Awareness Week (September 23-29). Attendees are encouraged to bring diaper donations to help local families in need. Over the past 10 years, the Junior League’s Diaper Bank has provided critical assistance to families in the Greater New Orleans area.
